Uprising injured Kajol sent to Thailand for treatment

The government has decided to send Miah Md Kajol, 27, an injured during the July mass uprising, to Thailand for advanced treatment.
He was scheduled to be flown to Bangkok at 11:00pm via an air ambulance.
Dr Humayun Kabir Himu, a physician at National Institute of Neurosciences (NINS), said Kajol’s visa has been approved and the payment for the air ambulance had been made.
Kajol, a student of English department of Jahangirnagar University, was shot on August 5 in Jatrabari. He is undergoing treatment at NINS.
Humayun Kabir said his condition was gradually improving, but two days ago, he suddenly developed an infection. Kajol experienced several bouts of diarrhea, which caused his blood pressure to drop, leading to shock.
By Saturday morning, Kajol’s condition began to deteriorate. His situation was reported to the health adviser.
Information Adviser Nahid Islam visited Kajol recently at the NINS.
He discussed with the doctors and coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance regarding Kajol’s visa and expenses to send him to Bejthani Hospital in Thailand for treatment.
